Mark Glavina
The art of visual communication preoccupied and motivated Mark Glavina from an early age. From a large family with six siblings, there was no shortage of verbal communication growing up. As the second youngest in the family, getting a word in edgewise was a formidable task. At a young age drawing and painting proved to be both a way to express feelings and emotions as well establish an identity in a large family. As it turns out, two of Mark's siblings chose careers in the visual arts and one in the performance arts, as evidence of the creative influence of both Mother and Father.
Mark studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Capilano College and has worked as a teacher and illustrator with various contracts including background painting for animation. As well, he has established a reputation as a muralist. In the 90's Mark turned to developing his own fine art, exploring environmental and cultural issues, as well as working with the figure and portrait.
Mark has traveled with his wife Roxanne through Europe, Australia, Asia, the West Indies, and North and Central America. Mark and Roxanne have settled in Steveston, British Columbia with their two daughters Arianne and Dominique.
In 1996 Mark opened his first retail location, Phoenix Coastal Arts, dedicated to the stimulation of the Arts in the beautiful and historically rich fishing community of Steveston. In 2001 he opened a larger second location, The Phoenix Art Workshop, offering art education to young people and adults, as well as developing a support system for the local art community. Mark continues to work and develop his own art while at the same time developing a strong teaching network through the workshop and the school system. Mark has worked with the local schools developing art programs, murals and public art projects.

Mike Radford
Mike Radford was born in Kamloops in 1958. His family relocated to Prince George where he finished secondary school and went on to study Fine Arts at the College of New Caledonia.
From 1983 - 1987 he studied in the Studio and Commercial Arts programmes at Capilano College in North Vancouver. During this time, he was fortunate to study under many of British Columbia's finest painters. Here he developed his skill and love for watercolour.
Mike works almost exclusively in watercolour and chooses a variety of subjects to paint. Travel in such exotic locations as Mexico, Cuba and India has inspired many of Mike's watercolours. His home province of BC continues to provide him with beautiful subject matter to paint.

Chris Charlebois
A British Columbian artist, Chris Charlebois has been painting for many years. He attended Vancouver School of Art during the 70`s, and his painting instructors were Bruce Boyd and Don Jarvis. Inspired by Riopelle and Borduas and not without influences coming from Turner, Klimt and Van Gogh, his work is evolving into a kind of a nature based abstraction.

Lea Price
Price is an established artist who lives in Tsawwassen. She has been featured in many solo shows in Western Canada. Her nature, being fond of exploring a range of colour and textures, lends itself to working in just about any media - which she does.
"Art to me is sort of drawing a spirit and soul out of a two or three dimensional surface," says Price. "There are times I want to have that immediate, spontaneous experience, and I would choose painting on silk or something similar. Where other times I want to slow down and have more control with exploration that takes a little longer as in building forms in clay and creating an installation."
